Clinical Mental Health Counselor Licensing Supervision

“If you set goals and go after them with all the determination you can muster, your gifts will take you places that will amaze you.” —Les Brown
I offer weekly one-hour supervision to a limited number of post graduate students working toward their LPC designation in Pennsylvania. I am an adjunct professor at Immaculata University and I enjoy the intellect and the energy of hardworking new counselors in the field. I enjoy supporting new professionals in the continued development of their counseling skills, case conceptualization techniques, and addressing professional and personal issues that come up when you are working in the field.
My approach is collaborative and encouraging the new professional to develop and grow their own therapeutic techniques and skills. I will challenge you to incorporate into your work all of your training, your work experience, the ethical principles and the best interests of the client to best support the case or client you are discussing. Out weekly sessions will help you to not only process the prior week’s clients but how to best prepare you for the upcoming week. Throughout, we will also discuss and ensure that you are planning and practicing self-care and receiving appropriate supervision from your employer. It is so meaningful to observe new professionals grow in confidence and expertise throughout the licensing supervision process.
